The first step in applying for a U.S. non-immigrant visa is to complete your DS160 application. It takes approximately 90 minutes to do this. You can locate the DS160 application here:
Each applicant for a U.S. non-immigrant visa must pay the visa application fee (MRV) before they can schedule an appointment. This fee must be paid in person at the bank in Mexico. It is non-refundable and non-transferable regardless of whether a visa is issued.
You must generate the MRV Payment Instructions PDF (Deposit Slip) to proceed with this step.
You will then need to complete Step 1 - Pay My Visa Fee.
You will be able to access the reservation system calendar within 1 - 4 hours (generally) after the payment has been deposited in the bank in Mexico.
Appointment dates may not be readily available in the very near future. It is important that you keep checking back at random times during the day and night for possible dates that may open up. The more you check, the better your chances are of getting your preferred dates.
